Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is one of the fastest growing hospitals in Arizona and has been recognized nationally for clinical and service excellence. To keep pace with Phoenix's growing Northwest Valley, Thunderbird licensed a pediatrics unit in the Lower Level of our C tower to complement an expanded labor and delivery unit including a Level 2E NICU and additional surgery suites. Construction has also been completed on a new laboratory space as well as an enhanced emergency department.
